Skinny Pesto

Ingredients

  • 1 cup arugula (could swap and just do basil, but this gives it such a yummy flavor)

  • 1 cup basil

  • 1/2 cup raw nuts (I used cashews)

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp pepper

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 1/2 juiced lemon

  • 1/8 cup water

  • 1/4 cup chia seeds (whole)

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a food processor or small blender. I used my Ninja. If too thick, add a bit more water.
